The Madison Info Shop

The InfoShop is a volunteer-run collective dedicated to serving the Greater Madison/Southwest Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin communities. We offer a range of resources including, but not limited to, books, magazines, videos, and topic files, as well as community organizing space and activist tools.

The Madison InfoShop collective is not solely the product of one group, but is actually a larger gathering of radical community groups in Madison who are sharing space and resources.  In the past, other groups such as the Madison Insurgent, Food Not Bombs, RadMads Mental Health Group, among others have been partly hosted by the InfoShop. The InfoShop also serves as a drop off point and organizing space for the Wisconsin Books to Prisoners Project.

The Radical Oral History Project

The Radical Oral History Project is a partnership between librarians, the InfoShop and Rainbow Books. You can hear/view a sampling of what’s to come below. If you are interested in being involved with this project, we could always use volunteers! Email meesaj at gmail dot com.
