The sole purpose of Wisconsin Equal Justice is to distribute free information to citizens of Wisconsin who are unable to afford legal representation by a private law firm or a legal aide society.  There are approximately one million citizens of Wisconsin living in poverty so methods such as Internet websites and software packages provided to public libraries is the only way to reach a substantial number of these citizens.  Wisconsin Equal Justice is not a law firm, however.
