A diverse group of organizations is housed at the Social Justice Center. Some of the issues that organizations in the SJC focus on include: promoting an alternative currency, organizing people to make Wisconsin a better place to live and work, establishing a health care system that covers all Wisconsin residents, and informing and educating tenants and landlords of their rights and responsibilities. Two political parties, Progressive Dane and the Wisconsin Green Party have offices in the building. The Social Justice Center is also home to the Madison office of Citizen Action of Wisconsin Education Fund, the state's largest grassroots organization.
